Essen company cooperates with Korean manufacturer
Strategic partnership between Weilandt Elektronik and Point Mobile concluded
Essen (Germany) / Seoul (Korea), 15 October 2018: SK Kang, CEO of Point Mobile Co., Ltd., and the managing director and owner of Weilandt Elektronik GmbH, Udo Weilandt, have signed a framework agreement for the execution of service and repair of Point Mobile’s entire product range.
In doing so, the German company will perform all maintenance and repair work in the future, and will also offer Point Mobile’s official service program, which, among other things, increases the warranty period to up to five years and also covers damage caused by the user.
The Korean manufacturer of auto-ID devices is referring its customers from the EMEA region to the experts from Essen and relies on the expertise of Weilandt Elektronik in the repair of its devices.
More than 25 years of experience with repairs of MDE devices, bar code scanners and label printers from various well-known manufacturers provide Weilandt with a tremendous amount of knowledge about all necessary services and challenges in repair. The partner certified by Point Mobile has a large spare parts warehouse and can therefore respond to inquiries and make hardware functional again within a very short time.
